Introduction to Internet & Email

Would you like to be able to do the following?

• Have your own email address
• Send and receive emails
• Search the Internet
• Carry out tasks online such as book a ticket, pay a bill, pay your car tax, online banking etc.

The Adult Education Centre Ozanam Street will be delivering a short introductory course covering the use of the internet and email in May 2012.  Participants will receive a total of 10 hours hands-on tuition over the course of four weeks.

This course will be free of charge to all participants.

 

To avail of this course you must;

• have little knowledge or experience of email and internet

AND

• be a member of one of the following target groups;
• Older people (defined as aged 55 or over)
• People who have had less formal education or who have no formal qualifications
• Unemployed people
• People experiencing disadvantage – which may include: - people with disabilities, those living alone – particularly in rural areas, single parents, travellers, ex-prisoners, immigrants.
